Connecting with Communities

Community members are always searching for ways to support public schools as they try to ensure our students reach their greatest potential. Communities Just for the Kids is an outreach program of Just for the Kids and its partnering organizations across the country, initiated to make school resources found on the Just for the Kids website (www.just4kids.org) more understandable and accessible to parents, foundations, business coalitions, and other public school supporters who want to help their schools raise student achievement. As part of this effort, the following information guides have been created to help schools and their partners work together more effectively toward measurable academic results using Just for the Kids School Reports and Best Practices from Higher Performing Schools.

It is hoped that by using these information guides provided as part of the Communities Just for the Kids outreach program, along with resources on www.just4kids.org, everyone connected with public schools can find a common language and work together for the benefit of kids.
